Documentary Editor
Arpita Aneja is an award-winning documentary editor based in New York City/New Jersey.
Most recently Arpita was an editor at LinkedIn’s flagship doc series, Catalyst, which featured high profile career-makers and explored how they overcame the bumps and roadblocks they faced on the way to success.
Prior to that Arpita worked at TIME magazine for more than 8 years producing, shooting and editing documentaries for the video team. Her latest documentary edit was The Girls’ School (not yet released), which chronicles the lives of female high school students in Afghanistan who have recently been banned from attending school.
Other work includes Border Hustle, an investigative documentary about who makes money on Migrants on both sides of the U.S./Mexico Border, and Welcome to America, a documentary about a migrant mother who travels across the country to find her children.
When not at her desk, Arpita can often be found taking photographs, hiking a mountain or shooting at the archery range.
